History of Treasures of Joy ministries

​In the year 2004 I was asked on three separate occasions to come to India to speak and share the good news of Jesus. The last one to ask me was Dr Che Ahn. I could not say no, and God was up to something. I had prayed in college that God would bring the gospel to India. I had heard of great things happening there, but I just never thought that I would be going. That all changed when I accepted the invitation to be a part of a team of people who went to India with Harvest International Ministries. 

God began to reorder things and I became a conference speaker to about 1000 pastors in Coimbatore. God began to use me in supernatural ways that I had never experienced before. That first trip was amazing. We saw the miracles of God and I fell in love with a beautiful and honoring people. I was hooked. It was a very challenging trip on my physically, but seeing God work mightily, left a hunger in me for me for more. Two years later I took a team led by me to India and God was beginning to shape a desire in me for more. 

In 2009, I took my third trip to India and I met a young man named Remesh M. at a leader’s conference. After one of our leader’s meetings, he came and met me and told me that he was coming to the US to study for nine months. He called me when he got to the US and that led to him coming to my house, and eventually, God supernaturally paired us together as ministry partners. His zeal for church planting and training matched my heart for that as well. At the time, we were called Heart First Ministry, but later changed our name to Treasures of Joy Ministries because of the revelation that God has given me of each person being God’s treasure. Treasures of Joy Ministries continues to expand in India as well as with our outreach to international students here in the US. Pastor Roy has personally gone to India 9 times. He is on the phone or doing face time on a bi-weekly We are hoping to expand our Fathers Heart seminars as well and are waiting on God’s timing. basis to speak into a growing network of churches. We are training people in churches and in a monthly Bible training school, as well as holding conferences and outreaches. 

We minister in conferences, churches, schools, orphanages, and wherever God leads us. As we continued to go and minister to leaders, pray, and seek God, our influence has grown. Many churches have been added to our network. Recently, with the addition of our Creative Arts Director, Daniel James, we are doing more videos and documentaries and are on Facebook. We hope to expand that in the future. We are trusting God that we will be involved in discipling the nations and fulfilling the Great Commission. The best is yet to come.
